Vertens

OBJECTIVE

Vertens is a modular typeface exploring how blackletter can be reinterpreted within a contemporary digital context. The project investigates how motion and interaction can extend typographic expression beyond static form, treating the letterforms as a system rather than a fixed set of shapes.

I designed the typeface and developed a digital specimen that allows viewers to engage with the letterforms through movement and interaction. The experience is structured across a small set of interactive compositions, emphasizing rhythm, contrast, and transformation as core characteristics of the type system.
