I developed the visual identity for Don’t Be a Chicken; Fear Is the Mind Killer, an exhibition exploring fear as a creative and psychological force. Working in collaboration with curator Ally Lorico, the identity needed to support a wide range of work while reinforcing a cohesive conceptual frame rooted in Frank Herbert’s Dune.
The visual system translated the exhibition’s themes of mental strength, anxiety, and external pressure into a flexible graphic language applied across print, digital, and spatial touchpoints. I designed the logo, promotional assets, wayfinding, and event materials, ensuring the system could adapt to film, painting, sculpture, and print without overpowering the work itself. For the opening night, I designed a zine featuring artist references, contextual writing, and original poetry from the curator, extending the exhibition’s voice into a tactile format.
