Vertens is a modular typeface which explores how a blackletter type style could be expressed in a modern digital format involveing motion. Vertens was developed using html, css and javascript. After creating the foundation for Vertens, I set about creating a digital type specimen. Through motion, I developed two pages which allow for users to interact with the letterforms in different ways.
